About the Founder

Dr. Sutton was born and was raised in the North Country of upstate New York.

He has over 35 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry, culminating in his previous position as Research Fellow at Pfizer, Inc., Groton, CT.

Since Dr. Sutton had been formally & informally teaching managers and peer scientists in this industry, the inevitable evolution was to formally teach - for example - in a College of Pharmacy. Since 2009, he has taught BioPharmaceutics, Pharmaceutics and Pharmacokinetics at University of New England, Portland, ME.

Dr. Sutton is a recipient of the American Association of Pharmaceutical Sciences Fellow distinction. He has published over 100 peer-reviewed articles, abstracts, chapters and patents. His research interests are: 1) modeling & simulation of orally administered small molecules with biopharmaceutical & physiological based pharmacokinetics; 2) identifying the physico-chemical properties that maximize supersaturation of weak bases in vivo; 3) the potential synergy in the toxicity of nanoparticles, plastics and persistent organic pollutants.
